I'm Aaron — a developer, producer, team lead, and creative technologist. I've spent my career at the intersection of art and engineering, building tools and leading teams that ship creative work at scale.

Background

I started in animation and visual effects, working across studios on projects ranging from commercials to feature films. Over time, I gravitated toward the technical side — pipeline development, tool building, and production engineering — and then toward the people side: leading teams, mentoring engineers, and figuring out how to make entire departments more effective.

These days I focus on production technology and team leadership: building the infrastructure, tools, and workflows that keep projects running smoothly while growing the people who maintain them. I believe the best leaders build systems that outlast them, and the best tools are the ones you don't notice.

How I Lead

I lead by building clarity. Creative production is chaotic by nature — shifting priorities, tight deadlines, ambiguous requirements. My job is to create the structures and systems that let talented people focus on the work that matters, while I handle the complexity around them.

I've led cross-functional teams of artists and engineers, shipped projects under pressure, and built departments from scratch. I care about growing people as much as shipping products.
